Nice old English pub. Just what we were looking for. Welcoming staff – nothing was a bother. Comfortable room, clean and tidy. Coffee and tea facilities were good quality. Lovely bread and ale from the in-house bakery and brewery. We really enjoyed the food. If you like historical interesting buildings as a change from the chain hotels this is a good place to stay.
