The best things about the Talbot were the people and the food and drink! We were very comfortable – comfy mattress, great shower and very clean bathroom – and our dog was made very welcome. The staff that served us in the evening and for breakfast were friendly and professional. We had excellent service. We love the ethos of the pub serving homegrown and local food with nothing processed. I commend you for that. Not only were the ingredients excellent but the cooking was too and we enjoyed delicious meals all three evenings. Thank you so much.
Eat at the pub – no need to go anywhere else. The food is first rate and the beer from the brewery excellent too.
